Materials

We provide a full range of materials to manufacture gasket, seals and o-ring for automotive industry, in compliance with the automotive specifications.
The following materials are the most commonly used for automotive applications:

  • FKM

    Special compounds for explosive decompression (AED/RGD) ensure reliable performance in extreme conditions. Working within temperature ranges from -60 °C to 250 °C, these materials exhibit good physical properties and excellent chemical resistance.

  • HNBR

    Tailored with special compounds to withstand explosive decompression (AED/RGD), exhibits excellent performance within a temperature range of -60 °C to 170 °C. HNBR based compounds have excellent physical properties and are resistant to aggressive chemical environments.

  • AEM

    Ethylene acrylic elastomers are mainly used when thermal and oil resistance are required. AEM has excellent resistance to high temperatures, and good resistance to automotive fluids such as transmission fluids, engine oils and acidic condensates adding excellent resistance also to oxygen, ozone and atmospheric agents. Temperature range: –40 °C to +175 °C (and up to +190 °C for special grades).

  • EPDM

    Specifically designed for H2 and CO2 service, with good resistance to steam, ranging from -60 °C up to 150 °C.
