CompoundsFFKM materials are elastomers offering the highest chemical and heat resistance. Some FFKM types can be exposed to temperatures over 300°C. The resistance to chemicals is nearly universal and comparable to that of PTFE.

CertificatesRubber gaskets are statical or dynamic sealing elements that interject between two surface parts to ensure perfect tightness, as to say to avoid gas or liquid leaking.
Sealing elements are physical barriers against potential leaking and their quality reduces to a minimum product loss, premature breakdowns and especially chemical contamination of the atmosphere.
A sealing element made of elastomeric materials is designed in order to be able to be deformed under load pressure, it requires such an impact resistance in order to adapt itself to unevenness of the surface to be sealed and it requires to be sufficiently stiff to be resistant to extrusion, preserving all its physical and chemical properties as long as possible.
Rubber gaskets can be of different kinds: an O-ring, a customized drawing gasket, a diaphragm (membrane) or more complex parts as well; as a supplementary part of an engine, an installation or a machine equipment, its sealing must be designed following specifications that take into consideration the working temperature, the fluids employed in the process, the added pressures and the procedure time.
